TEAL  was conceived by famous H.C Hanson (worked for Ted Geary) and Leigh Coolidge, Seattle Naval Architects,  as an Alaska Fisheries Patrol Vessel  DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR and served in the ALEUTIAN Islands for years as well as all along the Alaska coastline. She has gone through 2 very significant full restorations and repower by the previous owner and the present owner, bringing her to full yacht quality and finish. She is a fully capable ocean passagemaker with 2000 gallons of fuel and modern Cummins 855-NTA which pushes her along very efficiently at 8kts.

This yacht is extremely well thought out with systems designed for minimum crew and is easily handled by two people. Full stand up-walk around engineroom with easy access to Main engine and two generators, custom watermaker and diesel forced air furnace system.  Tool and parts storage very well organized. Main Engine and Generators are serviced with built in oil change evacuation pump systems. The crew double berth aft, is accessed by ladder through the raised trunk cabin onto aft deck. There is potential for adding an additional stateroom aft with some creative design thought.

The main deck accommodations are expansive with raised Pilothouse forward, Port/Starboard teak Dutch doors with upper panel window, large leather settee, current electronics suite and wing control stations in addition to central PROPER SHIPS wheel, massive Ritchie SHIPS compass, engine controls and instrument and electrical panels.
Down two steps to the generous Salon  featuring  a large "L" shaped leather settee forward, and aft a large custom dining table and opposite settees, leather finished.  A beautiful wood carving adorns the forward bulkhead.  Galley is aft and will accommodate several people while preparing meals, new propane 4 burner stove, refrigerator, trash compactor, and even a garbage disposal. Expansive food prep counters with exquisite custom wood panel cabinetry providing excellent stores and cooking utensil storage. Double stainless steel sinks. Dutch door access to main deck from the galley, a total of 5 Dutch doors surround the main deck cabin as well as numerous large bronze portlights.

BELOW-The yacht accommodates 9 in 3 staterooms plus  crew berth aft. Two VacuFlush heads.
Separate 61hp Isuzu diesel powers the Wesmar Hydraulic bow thruster and hydraulic anchor windlass,  handlling the 500lb anchor and 450 feet of 5/8" chain mounted forward in chain locker.

Forward on lower deck is the chain locker, followed by an expansive 4 bunk stateroom with 9' headroom and 4 bronze fully functioning port lights. Continuing aft down the passageway is a newly created "office" to starboard, and to port a Double bed stateroom with hanging lockers and storage. Continuing aft is the fully enclosed Head, Shower and Washbasin featuring exquisite natural granite coverings.  Continuing aft to starboard are stairs leading up to Salon, and aft to port is the "Captain's" or Master stateroom fitted with a generous Queen bed, hanging lockers, storage, and ensuite wash basin and head. Active bronze portlights.
Continuing aft is the Laundry room with Stack Washer and Dryer and a new Kenmore 17 cuft Freezer.
Next aft is access to Engine Room- 8' headroom and 3' walkaround on each side for easy maintenance, workbench, well organized tools and spare parts, with easy access to 2 generators, diesel furnace and watermaker.
Aft of engineroom is the crew berth and lazzarette with easy access to the steering post and gear. Excellent storage space as well.

The Aft deck features a "cocktail wet bar" or fish processing station across the full width of the main cabin, with aft  Control station to Starboard. Generous storage below on this well designed and executed custom wood cabinetry.
Ladder to Boatdeck with Purpleheart wood treads
Large Trunk Cabin mid-deck aft with fully removable hatch for handling large items to below decks, and sliding hatch and ladder for daily access to crew berth and engineroom
On deck at the stern, a Very unique curved settee above the beautiful Fantail, with adjoining table that converts to Queen- sized berth for Nature Lovers and Star Gazers

Boatdeck accommodates twin masts and boom with Steadying Sail. Hydraulic Steelhead davit for handling tenders and life raft on the large Boat Deck.
Tender- 2016 Highlander 16' Inflatable, 2009 20HP Honda 4-stroke outboard
6-Person Life raft with EPIRB

The foredeck is expansive and a great place for lounge chairs to enjoy the passing scenery.  The Hydraulic anchor windlass is forward, and aft is a fully functional "Dog House" access to the forward stateroom via beautifully finished wood ladder.
